Important Sales to be aware of

• Rocking Heart Ranch Ltd will be dispersing several weanlings at the Perlich Select fall Horse sale on Friday September 30 and Saturday Oct 1st.  We have some of the best weanlings we have ever had on the ranch for sale from bloodlines like Blue Valentine, Silver Gun (World Champion Heeling Horse), Two Eyed Jack, Doc Bar, Zan Parr Bar.  If you are looking for a future prospect with a great mind, athletisism, and color, look for the blue roans, buckskins, bay roans, and paliminos at this years sale. Check out our website at http://www.rockingheartranchltd.com/ for pictures of all the weanlings that will be consigned to this years sale.
• August 27th is the "Come to the Source" sale in Laramie Wyoming.  I recently had the opportunity to meet Dick Van Pelt from the Vista Grande Ranch, Chip Merritt from Merritt Quarter horses, and Sam Sholtz and Ken Matzner from Kesa Quarter Horses all from the Laramie Wyoming and Fort Collins Colorado area.  I had the opportunity to visit each of their ranches and can tell you that this is one sale you do not want to miss.  This is foundation breeding at its finest with the bloodlines of Blue Valentine and Driftwood throughout.  Mark August 27th on your calendar.
• September 17th is the Weaver Quarter Horse sale in Great Falls Montana.  Stan always has some of North Americas most diverse group of horses.  Similar to the Come to the Source sale in Wyoming, there is always something for everyone.  We own one of Stans horses and are very pleased with him.
• The Foundation of Legends sale in Coleman Oklahoma with horses from the Rafter W (Willingham Quarter Horses) is a go again this year.  Keep checking back as to the correct date.  Hey, while you are down there talk to Jim Willingham about a Sundowner trailer, he lives three minutes from the factory and works there as well.
• Friday November 25th is the Canadian Western Agribition show and sale.  Only nominated horses are allowed to be entered into this sale meaning only the good ones get to come. 

Congratulations Pete and Angel Graveline

The Garners would like to extend their congratulations to Pete and Angel Graveline from Medicine Hat Alberta on their purchase of Playing With Jack, the 2008 chestnut son of World Champion Heeling horse Silver Gun.  It is always great to meet new people particularily those that appreciate great horses as much as we do.
